01 路 COMBINED ROLE
Trainee or part-qualified accountant
with bookkeeping ownership
Own the day-to-day books, then grow into reporting, forecasting and management information as you learn the business.
Great for: someone who enjoys getting the detail right and wants a wider commercial finance career.
02 路 SPECIALIST ROLE
Bookkeeper
accurate, organised and proactive
Keep our financial foundations current and dependable across the group, including reconciliations, bills, expenses and finance administration.
Great for: someone who takes real pride in clean records, strong controls and a smooth month end.
03 路 DEVELOPING ROLE
Trainee or part-qualified accountant
insight, planning and decisions
Turn accurate records into weekly visibility, cash-flow forecasts and management information that helps us act sooner.
Great for: someone building their qualification who is curious about how a growing business actually works.
THE WORK
Make finance clearer, faster and more useful.
The final scope will depend on the pathway and the person. Likely responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records across our companies
- Managing or supporting invoices, bills, expenses and reconciliations
- Helping keep payroll, VAT and cash flow on track
- Producing useful weekly and monthly management information
- Supporting budgets, forecasts and financial planning
- Spotting discrepancies, risks and opportunities early
- Improving processes using Xero, Fathom, AI and automation
WHAT MATTERS HERE
The person matters as much as the CV.
- Trustworthy, accurate and proactive
- Confident with Xero; Fathom or similar reporting experience is helpful
- Clear, friendly communication
- Curious about what sits behind the numbers
- Responsible interest in AI and automation
- Relevant study or part-qualification for the accounting pathway

Practical details
Pay, package and working pattern are open to discussion and will reflect experience, scope and the agreed arrangement. Specialist year-end accounts and tax can remain with our external accountant.
